I think family portraits have changed so much in recent years and we no longer see so much of the super staged studio portraits that were all the rage in the noughties! Personally, I love natural shots that just capture children having fun and so much of the shoot is focused on making sure it's an enjoyable experience for little ones. I think less people consider getting family portraits done as we are all taking photos on our phones constantly - but what if professional photos were more accessible? Families come in all shapes and sizes and why not capture the bond of friendship? Below is a snippet of a recent shoot I did with two besties and their girls who are also BFF's! I loved setting up a tea party for the girls for them to find in the woods and we had so much fun that natural smiles were easily available for some lovely photos.
